

Meera started the company in New Delhi in 1994 in response to the growing need for cultural expertise created by the increasing presence of multinational corporations in India. As her family moved, so did the company and its operations were transferred to London in 1996 and then recently to northern California, United States.
Meera designs the programs for India Cultural Training. She is a South Asian area specialist, India training specialist and linguist. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, a San Francisco based institution.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Sociology (University of Warwick, UK), a Masters degree in South Asian Studies (School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London) and a diploma in Change Management (Birkbeck College, University of London).
Meera has considerable experience and a solid record of achievement in the design and delivery of cross-cultural management training in diverse countries of the world. In addition, her training encompasses the depth and intensity of personal experience of different cultural environments. She is Indian and moved to the United Kingdom with her family at a young age. Raised and educated there, she has also lived and worked in Germany, Austria, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India and the United States. This combination of Indian cultural background and international experience enables Meera to bring to her training both Indian and expatriate insights. It also enables her to fully understand the processes and challenges of both personal and professional cultural adjustment. In addition Meera brings insights based on her expertise as a linguist to her cultural work. Her languages are English, French, German, Punjabi and Hindi.
